Hours: Full-Time Position - 35 Hours
Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101
The NYC Department of Design and Construction seeks a Digital Content Creator that can make an immediate contribution within our Creative Services unit. The selected candidate will join an active studio and collaborate with writers, illustrators, photographers, and designers. The Content Creator will work on projects from concept development to implementation, creating social media content that is engaging and informative. The candidate should excel at creating sharable content, shooting and editing vertical videos, and have experience with motion graphics and a good understanding of typography. They should be comfortable facilitating interesting discussions, with both experts and non-experts, and converting those discussions into content. The selected candidate will thrive in a team environment and be able to work independently to drive projects efficiently to final execution. Photography skills is a plus.
Please note: All candidates must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States (U.S.). Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
