Community Manager Job Description: 

PrideStaff is working with a well known property management company who is seeking a Community Manager to join their team. The Community Manager will manage new apartment community launch operations, leasing strategies, on-site teams, and asset financial performance reporting directly to the regional manager.  The ideal Community Manager has multiple years of hands-on property management experience coupled with a strong understanding of Yardi and local fair housing laws.  The Community Manager is a full time, direct hire position in Freeport, FL.  


Community Manager Job Responsibilities: 

  • Execute Comprehensive Lease-Up Strategies to Hit Target Occupancy Goals
  • Conduct Local Market Research & Analyze Competitor Data For Pricing 
  • Implement Marketing & Advertising Campaigns to Generate Traffic 
  • Build Relationships With Local Businesses & Referral Sources 
  • Oversee Pre-Leasing, Guest Tours, Application Processing, & Lease Signing
  • Collaborate With Construction Teams on Building Delivery & Design Feedback 
  • Direct Daily On-Site Property Operations & Maintenance Standards 
  • Supervise, Train, & Mentor On-Site Leasing & Maintenance Staff 
  • Manage Resident Relations, Move-Ins, & Retention Programs 
  • Handle Financial Tasks Including Rent Collection, Budgets, & Reporting 
  • Ensure Property Safety, Compliance, & Curb Appeal Standards 
  • Serve as The Primary Contact For Prospective & New Residents 
  • Report Performance Metrics & Updates directly to The Regional 


Community Manager Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required 
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Related Field Preferred
  • 3+ Years in Property Management Experience, With Significant Experience in a Lease-Up Community Manager Role 
  • Proficient Knowledge of Property Management Software Such as Yardi & Financial Reporting
  • Solid Knowledge of Property Management Laws & Regulations 
  • Demonstrates a Strong Understanding of Property Management Operations, Leasing, Resident Relations, Maintenance, & Financial Management 
  • Demonstrates Superb Skills in Digital Grassroots Marketing Campaign Execution 
  • Exceptional Leadership & Staff Supervision With The Ability to Collaborate With Developers, Owners, & Construction Teams 
  • Strong Knowledge of Local Community & Florida Rental Markets & Competitor Analysis 
  • Must Have a Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation 
  • Has a High Level of Focus on Customer Service 
  • Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills With Superb Problem-Solving Skills
