Job description

Embrace the challenge of adapting to shifting priorities and resources while contributing to a dynamic team and applying your expertise, strategic thinking skills, and operational excellence across product lines.

As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Digital Comminications, you are a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space, while being directly responsible for creating structures that enhance coordination in our product line.

Job responsibilities
  • Works across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communications plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives
  • Enables operational efficiency by supporting training, maturation, needs assessments, and continuous improvement practices
  • Drives adaptation and modification of our product-line framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized
  • Implements a product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs

  • Own the planning and prioritization process for Digital Communications, including intake shaping, prioritization recommendations, and maintaining a single integrated view of commitments, dependencies, and decision points for each Product group
  • Drive timely decisions by aligning stakeholders, surfacing trade-offs, and ensuring clear owners and next steps; intervene where necessary to address ambiguity, and misalignment.
  • Produce decision materials that clearly articulate options, pros/cons, impact, costs where relevant, and risk, with a clear recommendation; ensure narratives are pressure-tested before review with senior leaders to prevent rework and surprises.
  • Stakeholder management, alignment, and LoB relationship management: Maintain alignment between Digital Communications and ~10 LoB and Product stakeholders on priorities, sequencing, and delivery expectations; connect regularly with LoB partners to maintain a current read on each group's evolving areas of focus so Digital Communications is positioned early as initiatives and priorities are being defined; represent Digital Communications priorities and constraints in partner conversations with clarity and maturity, shaping shared expectations before work is committed.
  • Increase transparency across Digital Communications through consistent portfolio reporting, clear decision logs, and proactive communication of changes; elevate important LoB/Product partner updates that may impact deliverables and/or affect how Digital Communications operates with those groups, with an emphasis on early signal capture and preventing late-breaking surprises.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
  • Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives
  • Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience in product operations, portfolio/program leadership, strategy/operations, or an adjacent operating role within a large enterprise product organization.
  • Demonstrated track record owning cross-functional outcomes in a multi-stakeholder environment, including prioritization, dependency management, stakeholder alignment, and decision facilitation through conflict and trade-offs.
  •  Ability to create executive-ready decision materials, including options framing, risk articulation, and recommendation quality appropriate for senior leadership forums.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership skills, including influencing without authority and maintaining alignment across multiple LoBs and Product partners.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape narratives that are concise, defensible, and decision-oriented.
