Job Summary

The Director, North America (NA) Wholesale Marketing defines and leads wholesale marketing strategies that support product and business objectives. This role serves as the voice of the fan and the brand across all wholesale consumer touchpoints, setting the strategic direction for engagement across partners.

The Director leads a multi-layered functional team, driving a disciplined focus on engaging, fostering, and retaining customers within wholesale channels to increase the lifetime value of the fanbase and deliver measurable impact on both sell-in and sell-thru performance. The role aligns cross-functional stakeholders and translates enterprise priorities into scalable wholesale strategies, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and long-term growth across markets.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Creates and owns the North America wholesale Marketing playbook, leading managers, direct reports, and cross-functional teams to deliver on KPI's and broader business objectives.
  • Defines North America-focused wholesale marketing strategies and programs that drive traffic, revenue, and consumer engagement across varying markets. Oversees traffic-driving activations, in-store point of purchase programs, digital account campaigns, staff education, and store-level events from concept to completion.
  • Develops and directs omni-channel strategies for both key strategic accounts and regional accounts, establishing short- and long-term goals, success metrics, target audiences, and key tactics aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Establishes and leads scalable analytical frameworks and processes to deliver cost-effective engagement and traffic-driving programs. Synthesizes insights from social media, digital analytics, and sales trends to inform strategy and influence senior leadership decisions.
  • Oversees research and insights initiatives to track key performance indicators, gather market intelligence, and compile data critical to the planning and optimization of all account activations.
  • Establishes and evolves wholesale program best practices and operating procedures to drive consistency and scalability. Evaluates and introduces new concepts, communication platforms, and innovative programs, ensuring the organization remains competitive in retail and in-store marketing trends.
  • Provides strategic direction to internal teams and partners on incorporating emerging trends into wholesale marketing strategies.
  • Owns and governs the Wholesale Go-To-Market Calendar, aligning key milestones and timelines across cross-functional teams and ensuring integration with broader organizational priorities.
  • Directs the end-to-end creative strategy and development process for wholesale activations with internal and external agencies, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Leads cross-functional program planning and execution at scale, ensuring timely delivery, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic priorities and budget expectations.
  • Manages, mentors, and develops team members, including people leaders, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and scalable organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in digital marketing/general marketing required.

  • Ability to translate emerging digital trends into strategies that drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Strong vendor and agency leadership, ensuring delivery against strategic, budget, and performance goals.
  • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, establishing focus and scalable ways of working.
  • Ability to set strategic direction and drive execution through teams.

Travel Required: Yes, up to 30% of the time.

Base Salary: $170,000 - $180,000

This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
