Overview

Control Systems is hiring a Systems Account Manager to join our fast-growing team! We are a destination employer for driven professionals who want to be part of a leading fire, security, and low-voltage systems integration company.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers while developing new business opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor, delivering integrated fire, life safety, security, and low-voltage solutions. Responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting and developing new customer relationships while expanding existing accounts through upselling and multi-system solution development

  • Preparing, presenting, and negotiating pricing proposals that reflect our commitment to superior customer service

  • Identifying customer needs and developing tailored system solutions to meet operational and business objectives

  • Conducting customer presentations, system demonstrations, and consultations to generate new opportunities

  • Participating in trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry events to increase brand awareness and drive sales

  • Collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

We value candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Proven success selling integrated fire, security, and low-voltage systems solutions to multiple levels within customer organizations

  • Working knowledge of fire alarm, security, access control, video surveillance, and life safety systems

  • Understanding of applicable codes and standards (including IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, etc.)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within fire alarm, low-voltage, life safety, or commercial construction industries
