EmbedTek is a Waukesha, Wisconsin based firm that designs and manufactures embedded systems and develops software for OEMs. These systems include deeply embedded computer systems, liquid crystal display (LCD) based products, industrial and factory floor computers, industrial I/O & power control and board level component subsystems.

The financial, human resource and information technology functions are critical to EmbedTek’s success in providing quality products to our customers in a timely fashion. The Director of Finance and Administration position is responsible for all financial, legal, Human Resource, IT, and administrative areas of the business.

This position reports to and will work closely with the CEO developing and implementing the strategy of the business, creating financial models and deploying key metrics for the business. This position provides an opportunity to participate in a growing business and to enhance a customer-focused manufacturing environment in support of the company’s strategic growth.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Position has supervisory responsibilities for accounting, IT, and HR departments
• Manage all financial, human resource, information technology, and facility aspects of the business
• Complete month-end closing process and related reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports as needed by the business
• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Manage the cash flow and complete cash projections as needed
• Complete financial analysis as needed by the business
• Direct the use of ERP and related systems used by the company
• Manage all legal relationships for the company
• Actively participate in developing EmbedTek’s strategic direction
• Lead strategic projects as needed
• Oversee all human resource processes and programs, including payroll, benefits in coordination with OwnersEdge
• Develop key processes supportive of the current and future needs of the business
• Develop and mentor managers to support the increasing needs of EmbedTek
• Represent the Company and Ownership team professionally, honestly and ethically in all respects

QUALIFICATIONS

eDUCATION AND eXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 10 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience
• Over 5 years of public accounting experience is preferred
• Over 5 years of experience in the financial area of a manufacturing/assembly business utilizing an integrated ERP system
• Over 5 years of experience managing human resource and/or information technology functions

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• CPA certification preferred
• valid driver’s license

• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs
• Detail orientated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work as a member of a team
