Job description

Havencrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide/cook located in Monongahela, PA. Do you want to work where both patients and staff are valued and respected? Are you professional, patient, and motivated? If so, then please read on!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY AIDE

As a Dietary Aide, you'll assist in the daily food preparation and cleaning as directed. Residents will be served meals, coffee, beverages, and special food items in a timely manner during meal times either in the dining area or to their room. At the conclusion of each meal, you will prepared the dining room for the next meal and ensure a safe and clean environment for our residents.

As required, you keep accurate records for each resident you work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing department immediately. With patience and a calm demeanor, you treat those you care for just the way you would want your own family members treated. You go home each day feeling good about the positive impact you have made in the lives of so many in your community.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIETARY AIDE / COOK

  • Previous culinary experience preferred
