As a dedicated Diesel Technician on our team, you will work in our TA Service Center, on-site at Kenly 95 Petro in our temperature controlled 6-bay shop with premium equipment and a steady, predictable workload.

Requirements:
You will be the backbone of our shop, ensuring our customer vehicles are safe, reliable, and road-ready.
  • Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform high-quality preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake jobs, governor adjustments, and safety inspections.
  • Advanced Systems: Work confidently on diesel engines, fuel injection systems, emissions (SCR/DPF), transmissions, and air brake systems.
  • Maintain Safety: Keep your bay clean, use shop equipment safely, and accurately document all parts and labor using our digital shop management software.

You are a reliable, safety-minded professional who takes pride in turning wrenches the right way:
  • Diesel Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems and comfort using electronic diagnostic laptops/scanners.
  • Tools of the Trade: Possession of your own professional-grade hand tools and roll cart suitable for diesel repair.
  • License Requirements: Valid driver’s license required.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for long periods, and comfortably maneuver around heavy machinery.
