Position Summary:

The Diesel Fuel Injection Technician focuses on testing, disassembly, rebuilds, and replacing parts as necessary.


Responsibilities:

  • Repair of fuel injection pumps and fuel injectors (training provided)
  • Clean and test HPCR Diesel Fuel Injectors on a Test Bench
  • Test & rebuild all conventional mechanical injectors
  • Disassemble and clean fuel injection pumps being rebuilt
  • Testing of Electronic Common Rail Injectors
  • Testing of Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI)
  • Operate and perform maintenance on injector test stands
  • Calibrations to manufacturer specification
  • Maintenance of test equipment as directed
  • Follow directions and standard safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Work with hand tools.
  • Works with Micrometer and Caliper (We will train)
  • Manual dexterity up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand at workstation throughout shift
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Fosters good coworker citizenship in the workplace
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor while assisting co-workers as customer needs fluctuate
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
