Job description

Job Title: Fuel System Technician

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Job Type: Full-time – 40 hours

Compensation Package: $20-$30/hr based on experience

Job Description

Rebuild diesel fuel injection components to factory specifications. Technician would be responsible for basic repair of fuel injection pumps, fuel injectors and turbochargers, including disassembly, cleaning and reassembly. All repaired systems are calibrated to manufacturer specification on OE industry test equipment. No prior experience necessary, all training needed is provided and paid for by the company.

Technician must be able to:

  • Clean parts to industry standard following the trained cleaning process
  • Assemble products to factory specification
  • Test and set components according to factory specifications
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Maintenance of test equipment as directed
  • Follow directions and standard safety procedures
  • Work well with others

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be computer literate
  • Ability to work in a fast pace production environment
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Work on feet for 8 hours a day
  • Able to lift 40lbs unassisted
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
