At Mac Haik Ford, we take the full-service experience to a whole new level, and that goes beyond just shopping for a new or used vehicle. The team at Mac Haik Ford is proud to be an active member of a thriving, warm, and vibrant community full of adventurous and driven people.

In this role, you'll work in our Main Drive shop performing diesel and full-service repair work as assigned, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. You'll be responsible for maintaining the technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately diagnose and repair diesel vehicles, including Super Duty and heavy-duty models. This is an Air Conditioned shop.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Diagnose and repair diesel-specific systems: fuel injection, turbo, DPF/emissions, and engine components
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is needed
  • Notify service advisor if additional work outlined is not needed or if more time will be required
  • Document work performed
  • Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
  • Willingness to learn with hands-on training

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of Diesel Technician Experience
  • Ford or Super Duty experience is a plus but not necessary
  • Must be a team player
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must supply own tools
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
