Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs. Included but not limited to diesel engines, chassis, axels, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled & preventative maintenance on Ducks and fleet vehicles.
  • Conducts failure analysis, repairs, and components correctly. Included but not limited to differentials, transfer cases, and axles.
  • Assist in overhauls as needed during off-season.
  • Assist in service calls for emergency breakdowns.
  • Work with Drivers on vehicle concerns and outstanding maintenance issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-year hands on experience in preventive maintenance (Heavy Vehicles Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and understand basic mathematical operations.
  • Solid mechanical skills and the ability to operate power and hand tools, and other types of machinery.
  • Ability and Comfortability to work on 6ft/8ft ladders.
  • Valid License Required, CDL Preferred, not required. (Additional 1.50 p/hr.)
  • Welding knowledge, preferred, not required (Additional 1.50 p/hr.)

Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, employees must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements (including pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing)

Pay:

  • $33.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • $4,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Generous Yearly Bonus

Schedule:

            Two Shifts Available

  • Sunday – Wednesday: Noon – 10:00pm
  • Wednesday – Saturday: Noon – 10:00pm
