Job description

THE ROLE

We Are Social is looking for an Agency Producer to join our growing team! This role is responsible for delivering projects on an ongoing basis, collaborating closely with the Account and Creative teams. You will draw on your existing knowledge and expertise of how to produce and execute deliverables efficiently, including budgeting, delivering timelines, booking resources, and managing fast paced workflows. You are a natural and confident communicator, friendly and approachable with attention to detail and accuracy in all communication. You should have a solid understanding of all phases of production and you're down for whatever it takes to get the job done, on-time and on-budget.

WE ARE

A creative agency powered by social connections. That means we thrive on whatโ€™s trending and creating campaigns that get people buzzing. We call it โ€œIdeas Worth Talking About,โ€ and we're proud to have played a part in some of the most culturally relevant campaigns of the decade for brands like McDonaldโ€™s, Adidas, Universal Studios, and YouTube.

WHY YOUโ€™LL LOVE IT HERE
  • We like to laugh, we live for celeb gossip and weโ€™re great on AUX
  • Our passport program lets you explore and work from one of our 18 other offices worldwide, including Paris, Singapore, Madrid, Dubai, London and more
  • You best believe we know how to celebrate our wins. And our losses (itโ€™s how we learn)
  • From carbon offsets to community kitchens, weโ€™re passionate about making a difference
  • Did we say snacks? Because we have great snacks (Shoutout to Sheila who keeps the kitchen stocked)
YOU ARE
  • A person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly and proactively
  • Not interested in just following trends โ€“ you want to create them
  • A self-starter, whoโ€™ll take ideas from concept to execution, navigating feedback like a pro

Traditional agency experience is not required, but itโ€™s a plus. What matters is your deep understanding of what resonates with social audiences. This role is energetic, innovative and forward-thinking. Alongside engaging with communities, youโ€™ll guide brands by staying ahead of social trends and cultural moments. In return, youโ€™ll join a global agency dedicated to generating buzzworthy ideas for some of the worldโ€™s leading brands.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO
  • Draft and present internal and external communications, including solid presentation decks, strategic positioning emails, and client-facing project recaps
  • Build client relationships by managing production focused calls and presentations, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project health and delivery
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing and capabilities, maintaining professional relationships that benefit the agency
  • Own and manage budgets for content and experiential, overseeing the lifecycle from initial estimate to final reconciliation
  • Strategize vendor selection by integrating budget constraints with creative requirements to provide thoughtful, data backed vendor recommendations
  • Mentor junior team members by serving as their day-to-day point of escalation, coaching them through complex tasks until they achieve autonomy
  • Manage External Partners throughout the project lifecycle, including onboarding, communications, budget tracking, and delivery timing
  • Prioritize your workload by aligning personal and team to-do lists with broader business and project priorities
  • Identify potential production hurdles well in advance and present multiple actionable, well vetted solutions to management
  • Maintain master timelines with high accuracy, proactively informing the broader team of any downstream implications of schedule shifts
  • Ensure all work is signed off at the right stages by the correct team members and partners
  • Leverage AI to generate first drafts of production briefs, SOWs, and vendor RFPs
  • Identify opportunities to optimize team workflows through emerging AI tools and trends
  • Physically attending shoots and understanding this role may consist of 25% travel
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
  • 4+ years of experience in production, social agency experience preferred
  • Familiarity with agency turn-around times and ways of working with a good understanding of the dynamics of agency processes, and enjoy the pace and challenges this brings
  • Strong understanding of the production lifecycle across both Content and Experiential disciplines
  • Detail oriented with great time management skills and experience working with budgets
  • Proactive nature and problem solving skills, with the ability to mitigate issues as soon as they are identified, propose creative solutions, and know when to escape issues
  • Confident when presenting to and managing expectations for external clients
  • Ability to populate and manage complex budgets with minimal oversight
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools (Mothership/Airtable)
