Position Summary
The Retail Home Delivery Driver supports retail operations by safely, accurately, and efficiently delivering cannabis products to customers in accordance with company policies and Nevada cannabis regulations. This customer-facing role is responsible for timely order fulfillment, accurate documentation, inventory control, cash handling, and strict adherence to delivery, security, and safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute daily retail home delivery operations.
  • Deliver cannabis products to customers' residences in compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and delivery protocols.
  • Verify customer identity and eligibility prior to completing delivery transactions.
  • Accurately prepare, transport, and deliver customer orders to ensure correct and timely fulfillment.
  • Accurately operate and maintain the point-of-sale (POS) system and required seed-to-sale tracking systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of transaction, delivery, and inventory data entered into required systems.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures during delivery transactions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts when compiling and reconciling delivery orders.
  • Complete required delivery documentation, receipt verification, reconciliation, and record retention.
  • Safely operate approved company vehicles for delivery purposes.
  • Conduct basic pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report vehicle issues.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, and time requirements.
  • Comply with company policies regarding authorized stops and delivery conduct.
  • Follow established procedures to prevent loss, theft, or diversion of cannabis products and cash.
  • Maintain customer and patient confidentiality in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.
  • Comprehend and apply all security and safety compliance procedures and protocols.
  • Promptly report security, safety, compliance, vehicle, or delivery incidents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, inventory areas, and delivery-related workspaces.
  • Identify, address, and appropriately escalate customer service issues.
  • Maintain open, professional communication with management and coworkers.
  • Provide support to retail and delivery management to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

All delivery, vehicle, security, inventory, and customer interaction activities are performed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory expectations.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position requires working in environments where cannabis products are present, which may include exposure to marijuana odor and plant-related airborne dust particles.
This is a customer- and patient-facing position and requires the ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in order to interact with customers, verify identification, operate point-of-sale systems, and perform essential job duties.
All essential job functions and requirements described in this job description must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with applicable law.
Physical activities may include grasping, walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 40 pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance).
Schedule and Work Hours
This position may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on business needs and delivery operations.

  • Uses a personal cellular device, in accordance with company policy, to perform job duties using required applications, including but not limited to: Samsara, Fleetio, OnFleet

Employment is contingent upon ongoing compliance with Nevada cannabis regulations, company policies, and the maintenance of all required licenses, permits, and work cards. Loss of eligibility may affect continued employment.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully complete required criminal background checks.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening in accordance with company policy.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Marijuana Agent Registration Card and any required local or jurisdictional work cards.
  • Must be eligible for employment under Nevada cannabis regulations.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass required virtual METRC training, as applicable to the role.

Positions requiring operation of a company vehicle require:
  • A valid driver's license
  • A driving history that meets the company's insurance carrier requirements.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
