Diamond Line Delivery Systems is seeking a Class A CDL Line Haul Driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations between service centers, ensuring freight is moved safely, efficiently, and on time. Our drivers typically run consistent schedules and are home daily, offering stability and balance. This position offers an average annual salary range of $80,000 - $106,000, depending on location. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Pick up and deliver freight to customer locations or between terminals on scheduled routes
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods when required
  • Ensure proper handling, securing, and documentation of all shipments
  • Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and handheld device entries
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
  • Provide professional customer service at all delivery and pickup locations
  • Follow all safety protocols, including hazardous materials handling when applicable
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements (Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience (or approved driving school completion)
  • Current DOT Medical Card and ability to meet DOT physical requirements
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background check, drug, and alcohol screening
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety standards
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull freight (up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching and operating equipment)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
