Job description

Company Overview

The Compliance Services Organization didn't exist. We built it.

MP1 Solutions pioneered the Compliance Services Organization (CSO) — a new category of operating partner built to replace the fragmented vendor model that has defined compliance programs for decades. Built on the foundation of MedPro Disposal, the nation's largest privately-held medical waste company serving 35,000+ providers across 48 states over the past 15 years, MP1 Solutions extends that operational infrastructure, vendor network, and customer trust into a category we're actively building — and leading. We're doing it with a technology-forward approach, actively developing the AI infrastructure that will make this model smarter, faster, and more scalable as we grow.

What we do: We operate as the single compliance partner for non-acute healthcare facilities — consolidating every obligation into one coordinated program, assigning one dedicated account manager as the point of accountability, and actively managing the underlying vendor ecosystem through continuous evaluation, negotiation, and optimization on the practice's behalf.

Why it matters: Regulated facilities across the country are managing compliance the same fragmented way they always have. We're changing that — and we're looking for people who want to help build what comes next.

Our technology: We're actively building the AI infrastructure that sits behind this model — automating compliance tracking, surfacing risks before they become problems, and creating a system that gets smarter with every client we add. If you want to build at the intersection of compliance and technology, you're in the right place.

Our impact: Our clients never have to worry about something falling through the cracks — obligations are coordinated, tracked, and documented in one place. We audit costs, eliminate overcharges, and deliver proof of compliance that always keeps practices inspection ready. Every client has one dedicated account manager who owns their program end to end. And unlike a traditional vendor relationship, our model is designed to get better over time — continuously re-evaluated, optimized, and improved with every client we serve.

Position  Overview:

MP1 Solutions & MedPro Disposal is actively building the AI and product infrastructure that powers the nation's first Compliance Services Organization — a new category of operating partner for non-acute healthcare facilities. This role exists to turn that vision into production-grade software: real systems, used by real clients, generating real revenue.

The Software Engineer, AI & Product Systems will own the design and delivery of multi-tenant dashboards, AI scoring pipelines, voice agent integrations, and CRM-connected platforms that define our compliance technology stack. Success looks like reliable, scalable systems that make our clients' compliance programs run without friction — and make our internal teams faster, smarter, and more accountable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain production AI pipelines — including call scoring via Claude, automated PDF scorecard generation, and coaching email delivery integrated with Gong and Google Sheets.
  • Develop and own multi-tenant client and rep-facing dashboards with real-time Salesforce sync, role-based access control (RBAC), and embedded analytics on Next.js and Supabase.
  • Architect and deliver the internal Lead Management Platform replacing Velocify — including skills-based routing, SLA enforcement, Twilio dialer, and completeness scoring across a 25+ table schema.
  • Integrate and maintain AI voice agent infrastructure (Vapi, Bland) with backend CRM handoff, conversation memory, and live escalation routing.
  • Administer and extend Salesforce across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds — building custom fields, validation rules, Flows, and SOQL-driven analytics for the sales performance system.
  • Design and maintain internal automation workflows via n8n, webhook-driven pipelines, and API integrations that eliminate manual work across departments.
  • Uphold engineering discipline: write tests for real edge cases, maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions and Vercel, manage staging vs. production environments, and ensure security best practices including RBAC, input sanitization, and secret management.

What You Will Build:

You will own production systems. Current and upcoming projects include:

AI Scoring Pipelines

Call audio in from Gong, scored by Claude, written to Sheets, PDF scorecards generated, coaching emails sent — fully automated and already in production.

Multi-Tenant Dashboards

Client and rep-facing platforms with real-time Salesforce sync, RBAC, and embedded analytics. Built on Next.js and Supabase.

Lead Management Platform

Full Velocify replacement — skills-based routing, SLA enforcement, Twilio dialer, outbound sequencing, and completeness scoring. 25+ table schema.

AI Voice Agents

Inbound agents via Vapi and Bland with backend logic, CRM handoff, conversation memory, and live escalation routing.

Sales Performance System

Scorecard engine, intervention dashboards, morning brief generator, and lead accountability tracking wired into Salesforce via SOQL.

Internal Automation

n8n workflows, webhook-driven pipelines, and API integrations that eliminate hundreds of hours of manual work across departments.

CRM Management

Salesforce administration duties including creation of custom fields, validation rules, Flows (automation), and more. Would be involved in future projects including Service Cloud migration, build-out of products and price books, and more including Velocify administration.

On AI and Vibe Coding:

We use Claude Code, Cursor, and every AI tool that makes us faster — and we expect you to as well. But you need to understand what you are shipping. If you cannot explain what a function does, debug it without AI help, or spot a bad pattern before it hits production, this is not the right role. We want engineers who use AI as a multiplier, not a crutch.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Years of Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production applications.
  • Technical Stack: Node.js, Next.js 14+, TypeScript — used daily, not aspirationally.
  • Database Design: PostgreSQL or Supabase — schema design, normalization, complex queries, and indexing.
  • API Integration: REST, OAuth2, JWT, webhooks — you build integrations that don't break at 2am.
  • LLM Integration: At least one shipped production feature using Claude or OpenAI, including prompt design, streaming, token management, and error handling.
  • Real-Time Systems: WebSockets, SSE, or Supabase Realtime — you've built something that updates live.
  • Testing & CI/CD: You write meaningful tests and do not break main. GitHub Actions, Vercel, staging/prod discipline.
  • Security Awareness: RBAC, input sanitization, secret management, rate limiting, CORS — you handle the basics without being asked.
  • AI Tool Proficiency: You use Claude Code, Cursor, and similar tools actively — and you can explain, debug, and audit what they generate.
  • Location: Must be US-based; Naperville, IL onsite preferred.

Nice-to-Have

  • Salesforce API integrations — jsforce, REST, bulk jobs.
  • PDF generation pipelines — Puppeteer, React-PDF, or equivalent.
  • Voice agent platforms — Vapi, Retell, or Bland webhook architecture and real-time audio design.
  • Multi-tenant SaaS patterns — row-level security, scoped data access, organization isolation.
  • RAG pipeline design — chunking strategy, embedding models, retrieval evaluation.
  • Prior experience at a B2B company where software you built touched revenue directly.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of $80,000 – $150,000, depending on level experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to help architect the technology foundation of a rapidly scaling AI-driven compliance platform.
  • High-ownership engineering environment where your work directly impacts revenue, operations, and client experience.
  • Opportunity to build production-grade AI systems, voice agents, internal automation platforms, and multi-tenant SaaS products from the ground up.
  • Access to modern engineering tools, AI-assisted development workflows, and emerging LLM technologies.
  • Collaborative, fast-moving culture focused on innovation, execution, and continuous improvement — with minimal bureaucracy.
  • Career growth opportunities within a scaling technology and compliance organization operating at the intersection of AI, SaaS, and healthcare operations.
