Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC) is seeking a talented Registered Nurse with significant experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing to serve as the Director of Nursing. This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead a dedicated nursing staff. Join our team as a State of Minnesota employee!
Operated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), AMRTC is an inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults with mental illness in a large, campus-based setting. Located just north of the Twin Cities metro area, this modern, 100-bed facility offers person-centered adult mental health care in a pleasant environment enjoyed by patients and employees alike.
Responsibilities:
As the Director of Nursing, you will develop facility-wide patient care programs, policies and procedures ensuring quality patient care that is compassionate, culturally competent, cost-effective, and efficient. You will oversee the implementation for the facility's plan for providing treatment to in-patient treatment units including services provided by the Bed Management, Control Desk, Nursing Education and Infection Control Office. In addition, you will also participate in decision making with leaders from executive and clinical areas in the facility, developing and implementing an effective ongoing program to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of care delivered to patients.
