We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to help maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our hotel's shared spaces.
Position Title: Public Area Attendant
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
Reports To: Assistant Housekeeping Manager / Executive Housekeeper
Position Summary
As a Public Area Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring that all public and employee areas of the hotel are clean, safe, and welcoming. You will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while working independently and as part of the housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including:
    • Lobbies, hallways, lounges, and corridors
    • Public restrooms
    • Elevators and stairways
    • Fitness center and pool areas
    • Employee areas such as locker rooms and restrooms
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks:
    • Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors
    • Vacuum carpets and clean rugs and upholstery
    • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and metalwork
    • Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork
    • Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and team members

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic understanding of English for communication and safety compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company standards
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Availability Requirements
