Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Hearing Examiner on behalf of a government client in Washington, DC. This is a full time, onsite position working 8 hours per day.

Duties and Responsibilities

Apply statutes, regulations, policy, and case law to write administrative review decisions in accordance with applicable District statutes and supporting regulations; research and analyze legal issues; and coordinate with the appropriate administrative hearings body to ensure proper docket management and timely responses to client appeals. Convene informal hearings to evaluate testimonial and documentary evidence, assess motions, and determine if the information presented supports the underlying action. Listen and provide mediation services to mixed audiences, specifically individuals receiving services and the entities that deliver those services.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED Knowledge of administrative law procedures, legal research and writing, evidence evaluation, and mediation 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Residency Preference

District of Columbia residents will receive special preference points in the selection process.
