Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community based social service organization that provides services for families involved with DFCS as well as in the community. We are currently seeking Transporters with human service experience working with children and families to provide transportation for children and adults involved with DFCS.


Counties we serve mainly include but are not limited to: Cherokee, Cobb, Bartow, Pickens, and Floyd.


Transporters Responsibilities:

· Provide Safe/Reliable Transports

· Document services and mileage.

· Maintain compliance with required trainings: Safe to Sleep, Child Safety Car Seat, HIPPA, Workplace Violence, Security Information Awareness, etc.

Requirements:

Transporters are expected to have:

  • High school diploma/GED plus 1 year of human service experience working with children and families.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation and a good driving record, proof of auto insurance meeting required 100/300/100 liability coverage, and be insurable by GVF's auto insurance carrier.
  • Pass a criminal background check, other safety screenings, and drug screen.
  • Must have access to a computer and telephone to contact clients and document services provided.
