Job description

At Total Medical Supply, we provide high-quality medical supplies to support patients in managing their health conditions. Our mission is to deliver exceptional customer service and product expertise to help individuals live healthier, more comfortable lives.


We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Diabetes Support Specialist in Illinois to join our team. The ideal candidate will generate new CGM business in the designated territory by fostering lasting relationships with referral sources while also networking with Abbott and Dexcom reps in your area.


Key Responsibilities:

· Aligns work activities with the company's mission statement.

· Provides education to referral sources such as endocrinology offices, certified diabetes educators (CDEs), home health agencies, and pediatric hospitals/clinics.

· Participates in community events focused on diabetes education and prevention.

· Consistently meets or exceeds monthly goals established by management.

· Facilitates the delivery and collection of physician orders and medical records as needed.

· Attends virtual sales meetings bi-weekly.

· Possesses a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

· Demonstrates basic proficiency with email, computer, and phone operations.

· Provides proof of TB vaccination within the last 12 months or is willing to obtain upon hire.

· Provides proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or agrees to obtain it upon hire or sign a waiver.

· Maintains accurate monthly expense reports.

· Participates in health fairs as required.

· Monitors and tracks referral shipments.
