Meet the team:
This position is responsible for supporting the sales training and development of high-performance HCP customer facing sales teams, as well as leading assigned projects and supporting general functions across the Sales Training Department. This position will aid in projects involved in the delivery and development of HCP customer facing sales personnel by collaborating with commercial stakeholders and delivering necessary training based on aligned needs, with supervision. This position requires that you work collaboratively with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
The North America Dexcom Sales Training Team is dedicated to delivering learning solutions that accelerate sales performance for our sales professionals in Canada and in the Us.
Enhancing sales skills, knowledge, and attributes to maximize success is our top priority.
Where you come in:
  • You will design and develop sales training programs tailored to the needs of field sales representatives, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and territory management.
  • You will perform field rides and coach field sales personal in alignment with district managers while utilizing data-driven insights to personalize training methods based on their individual strengths, areas for improvement, and largest territory opportunities.
  • You will establish a platform for ongoing peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and collaboration among sales teams, other regional field trainers, and corporate sales training partners.
  • You will support strategic pull through of marketing and sales strategy in your region through the development and coaching of our customer facing sales teams.
  • You will support large scale training initiatives alongside corporate sales training partners when needed such as national sales meetings, launch meetings, and advanced sales trainings.
  • You will maintain consistent communication and will partner closely with the Regional Sales Director to ensure alignment with regional business priorities and goals.

  • You are a quick learner who is adaptable in a dynamic work environment to lead or execute on training projects with live instructor lead formats or virtual presentations.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will work with the US Design, Development & Training teams on planning, building & facilitating on-going training, and continuous learning programs for sales teams.
  • Your willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include evening work, with overnight travel to regional meetings/corporate headquarter meetings will ensure your stakeholder commitments are met.
  • You bring excellent time management skills and have an aptitude for balancing and executing on multiple projects and deliverables at once.
  • You bring a willingness to acquire new cross-functional skills and a drive to develop your leadership skills at Dexcom within this role as well as future roles within the organization.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
