Position Overview
Our Christian private school is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith-filled Middle School Science & Mathematics Teacher to inspire students in Grades 6–8 academically, spiritually, and personally. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence while integrating a biblical worldview into daily instruction, fostering a love for learning, and helping students develop strong Christian character.
The successful candidate will create a positive, engaging classroom environment where students are challenged to think critically, solve problems, and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Teach Science and Mathematics to students in Grades 6, 7, and 8.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and New Jersey academic standards.
  • Integrate biblical principles and Christian values throughout instruction and classroom interactions.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, tests, and classroom participation.
  • Maintain accurate grade records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Foster a classroom culture that reflects respect, responsibility, integrity, and Christian love.
  • Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain effective classroom management.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
  • Collaborate with administration and fellow faculty members to support school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, parent conferences, and chapel services.
  • Supervise students during assigned duties, field trips, and extracurricular activities as needed.
  • Serve as a positive Christian role model both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • New Jersey teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred; candidates with relevant subject-area expertise and experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior middle school teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of middle school Science and Mathematics curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and classroom instructional tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a Christian educational environment.
