Job description

Role: ServiceNow Project Manager

Location: Irving, TX - Onsite

Pay Rate: $60 - 65/hour on W2, client will not consider C2C


This position is for an IT Operations Project Manager role supporting Infra projects. The Project Manager will support IT Operations by managing enterprise infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and closeout. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver Service Now initiatives. The Project Manager may also support related network, compute, storage, cloud, and data center consolidation efforts as priorities evolve.

The IT Project Management role requires proven experience with Service Now projects, with experience reflected in resume. The successful candidate may join active projects already in progress and will be expected to quickly establish ownership, maintain execution continuity, and provide clear project governance and communication.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES

The candidate should be hands-on in project execution and comfortable engaging in technical infrastructure discussions, while remaining focused on project management, coordination, governance, and delivery.

  • Manage assigned infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Take ownership of active projects already in progress and ensure continuity of execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and team members to develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, RAID logs, action items, and status reports.
  • Lead project meetings, working sessions, implementation planning, and status reviews, documenting and sharing minutes or outcomes of sessions.
  • Coordinate engineers, architects, vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and change requests.
  • Support infrastructure cutovers, migrations, refreshes, deployments, and modernization activities.
  • Track deliverables, owners, due dates, and completion status to ensure project commitments are met.
  • Escalate blockers and drive timely resolution with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, implementation plans, and closeout materials.
  • Facilitate decision-making and ensure technical and business stakeholders remain aligned.
  • Prepare executive-ready status reporting, meeting notes, stakeholder updates, and project communications.
