Insight Global is looking for a TRAVELING Facilities Operations Project Manager for a client of Insight Global here in Plano, TX! Below is more information of what we're looking for in a candidate in the role:


Travel Requirement: 90% (please note, candidates will be home on weekends)


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • Operations, warehouse, logistics, transportation, automotive, or supply chain experience
  • Experience supporting greenfield/start-up facilities or warehouse expansions
  • Exposure to CAPEX projects and facility buildouts


Plusses:

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CPSM, or similar certifications
  • Automotive, logistics, transportation, or distribution industry experience


Day to Day:

The Traveling Facility Operations Project Manager will oversee operational improvement initiatives across warehouse and distribution facilities, with a strong focus on safety, process optimization, project execution, and facility performance. This individual will partner with operations leadership to improve existing sites and support new facility launches while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.


***Compensation: $110k-130k (in addition: company car + expense card)

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
