Federal contracts require that this employee is a US citizen.Job SummaryThe DevOps / QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring reliable, representative, and performant environments to support CI/CD pipelines for all product components. You will be responsible for maintaining CI/CD pipelines and ensuring sufficient quality of test coverage. You will help maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. You will work with Software Engineers to ensure meaningful test automation accompanies all new developments. This role requires a strong technical background in DevOps practices, QA Ops practices, cloud technologies, automation tools, combined with the desire to continuously enhance overall solution quality.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesMaintain infrastructure ensuring high availability, performance and securityMaintain and improve deployment pipelines to ensure timely and reliable deploymentsEnsure infrastructure and processes follow industry best practice security standardsContribute to team responsibility for release management, deployment, and monitoring the health of production environmentsLead the ongoing optimization of automated test infrastructure coverage and responsivenessContribute to various testing efforts as neededContribute to the visibility and continuous improvement of the product delivery pipelineSupport the development lifecycle of platform design, deployment, testing and debuggingCompetencies/Qualifications3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field2+ years of experience in Test Automation roleExperience building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing infrastructure as code and cloud-base infrastructureStrong programming and scripting skills, especially PowerShell and C#Proficiency using version control systems (Azure DevOps, Git or similar)Proficiency using build orchestration systems (TeamCity or similar)Proficiency using deployment coordination (Octopus or similar)Proficiency using static analysis tools (SonarQube or similar)Proficiency using test automation and API testing tools.Solid understanding of networking and security concepts and best practices2+ years of experience with Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with containerization and container orchestrationExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication, collaboration and organizational skillsJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experienceFederal contracts require that this employee is a US citizenPhysical and Mental Job RequirementsTypical office job and office environmentRequires extended sitting, computer use, and typingOnsite, Remote or Hybrid Job PerformanceThis position is a hybrid work role which requires 1-2 days a week in the office and additionally be available to come into the office on an ad-hoc basis as needed.
