Craft transformative tools to drive design intelligence at Apple
Enable inspiring product design by leveraging data-driven insights to designers
Work with a diverse array of data types spanning geometric data, image data, network/graph data, time-series
Opportunities to work on algorithms, models, web-app development
Challenge the historical methods of doing things.
Support development of automated ECAD and DRC checks based on field learnings.
Develop automated tools to improve the efficiency of the design review and manufacturing process.
Create dashboards and other data product deliverables to summarize large data sets.
Maintain and continually improve data quality of complex, high volume data systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and software tools
Expertise in processing, transforming, and visualizing structured/unstructured data
Proficiency with web technologies, HTML, and web APIs
Understanding of ML and deep learning or reinforcement learning models
Experience with cloud computing systems and containerization
Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and Git version control
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with scripting, development or advance use of EDA tools for PCB or FPC analysis
3+ years proficiency with one or more programming language including Python, C++, Rust, Swift, and/or JavaScript
BS or higher in mechanical, computer or software engineering (or similar)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
