Job Title: DevOps EngineerJob Description

Design and manage cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices. Ensure system scalability, reliability, and secure software delivery in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS.

  • Maintain and optimize Kubernetes environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices.

  • Ensure secure software delivery and system reliability.

  • Collaborate with a small, dynamic team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior DevOps engineers.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.

  • Proficiency in AWS, with experience in Azure or GCP as a plus.

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS.

  • Experience with Helm and Kubernetes autoscaling.

  • Proficiency in Docker and containerization, including image creation and lifecycle management.

  • Experience with container registries, such as Amazon ECR.

  • Experience implementing GitOps with tools like FluxCD.

  • Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

  • Knowledge of AWS account management, IAM, and cloud security.

  • Understanding of cloud and hybrid networking fundamentals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Python and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.

The role involves 80% hands-on work focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, and 20% leadership responsibilities, including mentoring a DevOps Engineer III. The team is small and collaborative, consisting of approximately 8 members, including DevOps, software engineering, and QA professionals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69.00 - $79.00/hr.
