GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

This position is a primarily day time position.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field, with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics. Please attach a copy of your transcripts for review.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
• Teach 15-17 hours of undergraduate classes in Mathematics each term
• Academic advising of students
• Manage course grading and records management
• Contribute to department-wide program development and assessment
• Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts
• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the general college community
• Maintain regular, required office hours to be available and meet with students
