Job Summary

The Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship & Information Systems invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Entrepreneurship at the Assistant / Associate Professor rank to begin in Fall 2027. The Associate Professor rank may come with tenure. Associate Professors and senior Assistant Professors are highly encouraged to apply. Senior applicants must have a strong research record and junior candidates must show promise for the development of a solid research agenda. This position requires the Assistant/Associate Professor to teach entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate and graduate-level and to conduct research and publish in top entrepreneurship and closely related journals.

Job Responsibilities
  • 45% - Teach undergraduate and graduate-level Entrepreneurship courses. Normal teaching load is two courses or sections per semester for a total of four courses or sections per academic year.
  • 45% - Engage in academic research and publish in academic journals.
  • 10% - Provide service to the department, College, and university.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Ph.D./ DBA in Entrepreneurship, Management or related field; For Assistant Professor level, ABD candidates will be considered.
  • Years of Experience: Assistant Professor: 0-5 years Associate Professor: 6+ years Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching or demonstrated potential for excellence.
