Job Description

Growth is happening at Missouri S&T, and we invite you to be a part of it. The Child Development Center maintains this posting to support ongoing staffing needs and ensure continuity of care for our program. Positions may become available at various times throughout the year based on enrollment and scheduling needs. Applications are reviewed regularly, and qualified candidates may be contacted as openings arise. While an immediate opening may not always be available, applying allows us to consider candidates for current and future opportunities that align with their availability.

This position will assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a childcare program.

  • Focuses on completing work effectively, efficiently, and in a timely fashion
  • Understands how the assigned and/or routine tasks integrate with others in the team
  • Impacts the quality of own work and begins to impact the work of others
  • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and perform tasks/activities

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position has a flexible schedule that allows for changes, is motivating to children and coworkers, has high energy, and has experience communicating effectively with parents and coworkers.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50 hourly.


Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
