Job description

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving outbound prospecting efforts, qualifying inbound leads, and conducting research to identify new business opportunities. They will report directly to our Director of Sales and work very closely with our Business Solutions Architects to drive sales.

You must have prior success prospecting into mid-market and enterprise-level accounts, identifying key stakeholders, and securing initial conversations that lead to new business opportunities. You are resilient, coachable, and consistent in your outreach activity. You understand that solid research and thoughtful questions lead to great sales opportunities—and you love the challenge of finding creative ways to engage the market and start new conversations.

You are a self-starter, accountable, driven, detail oriented, ethical, hard-working, personable, rejection proof, and work well independently. You are comfortable on the phone, structured and organized, persistent without being pushy, and able to communicate value with clarity and confidence. Your ideal next position is with a company that values your development, invests in your success, and provides a long-term path into a more strategic, consultative sales role.

This high-activity, top-of-funnel role is key to our growth strategy. Experience with consultative selling, solution selling and technical/software sales experience is helpful.

Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience. 
  • 2+ years experience in sales, business development, or a related role
  • 2+ years experience in Software or related industry
  • Experience with CRM Systems preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience in the Attractions Industry or Visitor Experience Management, a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new sales tools and processes.

Job Description

  1. Execute structured outbound prospecting campaigns, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  2. Qualify inbound leads through discovery calls and research to determine fit and sales potential.
  3. Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads to support sales objectives. 
  4. Assist in defining and refining lead generation strategies based on market feedback.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM systems to track outreach, engagement, and follow-ups.
  6. Collaborate with Business Solutions and Marketing to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness. 
  7. Schedule and coordinate sales meetings between prospects and Business Solution Architects. 
  8. Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and strategy sessions to optimize lead conversion.
