Operations Support Specialist / Executive Assistant
Fort Belvoir, VA, US
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret
Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% (Local)
The proposed salary range for this position is: $59,600 - $122,100
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist / Executive Assistant. This role involves preparing reports, managing calendars, coordinating travel, and ensuring efficient administrative operations. If you have a strong background in administrative support and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute administrative, business management, secretarial, and logistical duties associated with the daily operations of senior personnel.
  • Personally attend to visitors' inquiries and actions that do not require the supported executives' attention.
  • Support scheduled meetings, chaired by senior officers, by preparing various spreadsheet and word document reports.
  • Create letters, memoranda, interoffice communications, confidential reports, and other correspondence in accordance with CDRL A005.
  • Ensure proper formatting, correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation in all documents. Duties may be complex or confidential.
  • Manage calendars for executive managers (Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Product Managers, and Division and Branch Chiefs).
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including itineraries, agendas, pay advances, expense reports, and submission of check requests.
  • Attend designated conferences and meetings.
  • Gather and transcribe minutes during meetings.
  • Perform other related administrative management functions as required.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience or 8+ years of experience may be substituted for Degree Requirement.
  • Microsoft Office Expertise.
  • Equipment Record Keeping.
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Desired:
  • Defense Travel System (DTS) Administration.
  • Experience working with senior US Army Officers.
  • Event Planning.
