Job Summary
The Brand Product Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering a unified, cross-functional, consumer led approach to our product stories that support the company's and overall brand and sales objectives. This role is critical to leverage and integrate Product, Brand, and Strategy teams along with inputs from BU's-D2C, Wholesale, CCG, EMEA-to develop unique informational and inspirational product programs and journeys. The deliverables and output from these programs are to positively impact brand awareness from consideration to purchase of Carhartt anywhere consumers choose to buy Carhartt while strengthening, diversifying, and growing the brand with all hardworking people.

Associate Responsibilities
  • Represent the voice of the brand and the consumer across product programs in all key milestones throughout the Go-To-Market (GTM) process
  • Influence and partner with Design and Product Merchandising teams to deliver an aligned approach to product solutions that deliver clear feature and benefits for the consumer
  • Liaise with Strategy and Insights team to interpret analytics into ownable, and actionable marketing communications inclusive of voice and imagery in which to inspire consumers to choose Carhartt
  • Supports day-to-day brand product initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs: across a fully integrated campaign including by not limited to (paid media, PR, web, in-store, social media, event, content creation, etc.)
  • Oversees day-to-day projects and manage timing with internal and external teams, creative, and integrated marketing teams, coordinates schedules with external vendors and internal team members to drive projects to completion
  • Deliver seasonal product briefs (that ladder up to the over-arching brand platform) conveying a product campaign with unique selling proposition, offering value and purpose to the consumer-providing the "why" for each product story, feature, and benefits.
  • Delivers all creative needs (sell-in / sell-through) elements to support the storytelling of the identified product stories - inclusive of and not limited to digital content, photography, POS, marketplace activations across BUs, collaborations, site & in-store content, etc.
  • Production Support across Key product stories in Men's (PDP, Lifestyle, and Video Shoots) with a brief to include Key Looks & Wardrobe defined, deliverables to activate in marketplace, and oversee all asset selects to leverage in content development while drive clear communication across the teams to ensure campaign is being executed with excellence.
  • Partner on approvals, with Sr. Brand Product Manager, of all Product assets, messaging, and channel placement across the brand touchpoints
  • Partners with the Sr. Brand Product Mkt Manager & Creative Leads to share out campaign concepts, creative development, production details, and activation in the marketplace with leaders (Dir. of Brand, Creative Director, VP of Mkt and Creative)
  • Drive hindsight and recap of product programs in a timely manner to identify key learnings and opportunities
  • Stay updated with latest marketing trends and competitor activities
  • Work to support, cross-functionally, Brand product programs for Men's with Product, Legal & Merchandising to finalize and drive alignment/consistency with product claims, naming, logos, and inform packaging needs.
  • Lead the Socializing of Brand product programs for Men's to Product, Brand, Strategy, Sales, BU's, and Mkt Leaders in the form of a presentation at key GTM Meetings.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6 or more years of relevant brand/product marketing experience
  • Able to effectively influence others to deliver desired results
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail
  • Able to pivot between seasonal and day-to-day management for various projects simultaneously.
  • Apparel/Fashion or Retail company/brand experience preferred.

  • Team mentality, passion for the consumer with proven abilities in team management, customer relationship management and planning.
  • Proficiency using PowerPoint/Keynote, Word, Excel, etc.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Sedentary; lifts up to 10 lbs. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Light Travel; up to 30%
  • This position has a Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities.
