CONCERN is a non-profit human services organization dedicated to providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health services to children and their families. Since 1978, CONCERN has brought hope, offered opportunity, and inspired change in the communities that we serve.We are searching for a driven individual to join our team as a temporary full-time development and marketing coordinator beginning July 1, 2026-September 30, 2026 with the possibility of an extension. In this role you with conduct day-to-day tasks that support fundraising events, marketing campaigns, donor communications, and data management. You will contribute to the department's strategic goals by assisting with content creation, data entry and reporting, event logistics, and donor outreach. You will serve as a key support person to ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of development and marketing initiatives. What Do I Need?Education and ExperienceMust Have One (1)Associate's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, marketing, or related field.ORTwo (2) years of experience in development, marketing, event coordination, or related administrative roles.Experience in nonprofit fundraising or communications (Preferred)Experience with donor management databases and graphic design tools (Preferred) Other RequirementsYou will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by modeling inclusive behaviors, addressing bias, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all stakeholders.You will participate in quality improvement initiatives as requested.You will submit hours worked accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with agency policy. Fundraising & Event SupportYou will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising and agency-wide initiatives.You will manage event logistics including vendor coordination, registrations, set-up, volunteer support, and post-event follow-up. These events do require physical tasks.You will assist with the creation of event materials (flyers, programs, signage, slide decks, etc.) in alignment with agency brand standards.You will coordinate raffles, auctions, donations, and sponsor recognition materials. You will support donor experience during events through onsite assistance and hospitality. Marketing & CommunicationsYou will assist with the creation of social media content.You will assist with drafting newsletters and email campaigns.You will maintain brand consistency across all materials and platforms.You will provide photography and videography support at events or programs as needed.You will assist in production of brochures, promotional pieces, annual reports, and other agency communications.Donor & Data SupportYou will maintain accurate donor records in the agency's donor database.You will process donations, generate acknowledgement letters, and prepare donor reports.You will track donor engagement and assist with implementing stewardship plans.You will support the Donor Relations Manager and Director of Development and Marketing with outreach tasks including mailings, calls, thank -you notes, and meeting coordination. Administrative & Department SupportYou will provide administrative support including scheduling, printing, filing, document preparation, and interdepartmental communication. You will prepare reports, meeting materials, and presentations for the Director of Development & Marketing.You will assist with grant documentation, data collection, and research as assigned.You will coordinate departmental calendars, timelines, and project deadlines.
