As a Development Manager, you'll play a key role in Coveo's newly organized Product Engineering structure, helping our Explore organization deliver the next generation of AI-powered search and recommendation capabilities.

You'll lead teams solving challenging problems in AI, search, and user experience while delivering products that have a direct, measurable impact on how people find information and get things done.

As one of our Development Managers, you will:
  • Lead a team of software developers working on strategic initiatives within our Explore organization.
  • Adapt your leadership style to the maturity, autonomy, and needs of each team while fostering ownership and accountability.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Applied Science, and Engineering leaders to deliver impactful AI-powered capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews when appropriate.
  • Coach and develop engineers, supporting their career growth while building a healthy and high-performing engineering culture.
  • Help shape the evolution of our R&D organization by contributing to cross-team collaboration, planning, and continuous improvement.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Development Manager or Senior Team Lead.
  • Strong software engineering background with the ability to understand, review, and discuss production code.
  • Experience building Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and adapt your leadership approach to teams with different levels of maturity.
