SoftWash Hawaii is seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand our presence throughout Oahu.
This is not a call-center sales position and it is not a door-to-door sales role.
We are looking for a professional who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, solving problems, and helping property owners protect and preserve valuable assets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to company-generated opportunities, conducting property evaluations, preparing proposals, developing strategic partnerships, and generating new business through relationship-building and community engagement.
This position is ideal for an experienced sales or business development professional who wants to help build a growing local company while creating a meaningful impact within the communities we serve.

SoftWash Hawaii is a Hawaiian and Veteran-Owned Property Asset Preservation Company serving residential, HOA, commercial, and estate properties throughout Oahu.

Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing inbound opportunities while actively developing new business relationships throughout Oahu.
This role combines sales, networking, relationship development, account management, and strategic growth initiatives.
The successful candidate will become a trusted resource for homeowners, property managers, HOA boards, facility managers, commercial property decision-makers, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Development
  • Respond to company-generated opportunities and inquiries.
  • Conduct on-site property evaluations and inspections.
  • Prepare and present professional proposals and recommendations.
  • Follow up on open opportunities and maintain ongoing communication with prospects.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through project approval.
  • Maintain accurate customer records within the company CRM (Hubspot).
  • Identify opportunities for maintenance programs, recurring services, and long-term customer relationships.
Business Development
  • Develop relationships with property managers, HOA board members, facility managers, real estate professionals, insurance professionals, and community leaders.
  • Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, trade associations, community meetings, and business events.
  • Identify opportunities within assigned markets and communities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Develop referral partnerships that support long-term business growth.
Account & Territory Management
  • Manage customer relationships throughout Oahu.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients and referral partners.
  • Represent SoftWash Hawaii professionally at all times.
  • Support company growth initiatives and market expansion efforts.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the SoftWash Hawaii brand within the community.
  • Qualifications
Required
  • Minimum three (3) years of successful experience in sales, business development, account management, relationship management, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person meetings and property evaluations.
  • Valid Hawaii Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency with mobile technology, email, CRM systems, and business software.
