Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily foam tests for the lab.
  • Must be able to cut detailed test samples, perform data entry, issue certification of compliance to customers.
  • Participates in and able to lead corrective action teams.
  • Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends.
  • Effectively communicate with plant associates and Managers.
  • Must be able to create and update JHA's, and SOP's.
  • Follow all safety and housekeeping guidelines.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervision.

Qualifiations:
  • Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent; A.S. degree preferred.
  • ASQ certification as CQ1 or CQT is desirable.
  • Must have at least 2 years of lab testing experience.
  • Direct experience within a manufacturing facility under an ISO, AS, IATF management systems with documented training in one or more areas as Manager, Lead, Technician, Inspector and/or Auditor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with all Microsoft applications
  • SAP experience desirable.
  • Have working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC17025 current requirements.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively manage time.
