Job Summary

The Finance Manager – Business Development serves as a strategic partner to the Business Development team, leading financial analysis, modeling, and reporting for RFPs and negotiations. This individual contributor role ensures alignment between financial planning, forecasts, and post-award performance, while providing insights to leadership to guide decision-making and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve financial benchmarks, insights, and analytics for Business Development
  • Own pro forma, executive summaries, and financial deliverables for RFPs
  • Advise leadership on deal structure, profitability, and financial risks
  • Contribute to short-term and long-term financial strategies across Finance and Business Development
  • Track and analyze pipeline metrics, retention, capex, and key financial indicators
  • Prepare and present financial reporting to support decision-making
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting for post-RFP performance analysis and KPI development
  • Promote best practices, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of finance experience, such as Finance Manager or Senior Financial Analyst
