Job description

Position Title: Executive Assistant
An opportunity exists for an Executive Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the President and CEO of a nonprofit organization. This role requires a high-functioning individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a strong desire to contribute to the nonprofit sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid work ethic, critical thinking capabilities, and the ability to work independently. The position offers the chance to engage with diverse stakeholders, manage complex schedules, and facilitate impactful community initiatives. Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 / Year DOE
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and local travel arrangements
  • Interact regularly with the Board of Directors, coordinating meetings and communications
  • Coordinate logistics for local events and community meetings
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents for the CEO
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Track expenses and prepare expense reports
  • Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items
  • Assist with special projects, events, and marketing initiatives
  • Anticipate the needs of the CEO and manage priorities effectively

Executive Assistant Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Executive Assistant or similar experience supporting senior executives
  • Experience supporting C-suite leadership is required
  • Candidates with 6+ years of experience may be considered if they come from a nonprofit, affordable housing, or community development organization
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in working for a nonprofit organization is essential
  • Experience in banking, real estate, affordable housing, community development, or a related industry is preferred
  • Experience working directly with or supporting a Board of Directors is preferred
  • Previous experience in a nonprofit organization is preferred
