Position Title: Executive Assistant
An opportunity exists for an Executive Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the President and CEO of a nonprofit organization. This role requires a high-functioning individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a strong desire to contribute to the nonprofit sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid work ethic, critical thinking capabilities, and the ability to work independently. Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 / Year DOE
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and local travel arrangements
- Interact regularly with the Board of Directors, coordinating meetings and communications
- Coordinate logistics for local events and community meetings
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents for the CEO
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO with internal and external stakeholders
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Track expenses and prepare expense reports
- Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items
- Assist with special projects, events, and marketing initiatives
- Anticipate the needs of the CEO and manage priorities effectively
Executive Assistant Requirements:
- 8+ years of Executive Assistant or similar experience supporting senior executives
- Experience supporting C-suite leadership is required
- Candidates with 6+ years of experience may be considered if they come from a nonprofit, affordable housing, or community development organization
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in working for a nonprofit organization is essential
- Experience in banking, real estate, affordable housing, community development, or a related industry is preferred
- Experience working directly with or supporting a Board of Directors is preferred
- Previous experience in a nonprofit organization is preferred
