The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport.  The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of 1,350 rooms, 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" in the world.

The Grand Hyatt is comprised of 436 luxury accommodations including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/apres ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

The Billing coordinator supports the endtoend billing process for the Sales & Events department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless guest experience from initial booking through departure. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining posting masters, reviewing event charges, finalizing master bills, updating and tracking deposit schedules, and requesting deposits and final payments prior to arrival. Responsibilities also include processing bill adjustments, reconciling discrepancies, and reviewing performance and revenue reports.
The Billing Coordinator provides administrative support to the Sales & Events team, including managing phone inquiries, maintaining organized billing documentation, and detailing event information within the hotel's billing and eventmanagement systems. This position collaborates closely with Event Sales and Event Planning to ensure accurate interpretation of contract terms, proper documentation of group resumes, and thorough followup on all billingrelated details.

       Prior experience in billing, finance, accounts payable, or accounts receivable is required

       One to two year(s) of experience in events or conference management in a hospitality setting is preferred

       Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and thriving in high-pressure environment

       Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and organization

       Proficiency in the following computer programs: Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a plus

       Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients in a fast-paced environment

       Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

       Perform other duties as assigned
