Job description

As a Marketplace Associate Business Developer, you will help grow Best Buy Marketplace by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-quality sellers. This requires a consultative approach to understand seller goals, challenges, and growth opportunities. As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships and guide sellers through the full recruitment process.
This role goes beyond seller acquisition and provides an opportunity to shape a curated marketplace. You will recruit the right sellers, brands, and products to support category goals, expand assortment, and meet customer needs. In partnership with internal teams, you will expand selection across core technology categories. You will also identify opportunities in adjacent and complementary categories that resonate with Best Buy customers. These efforts broaden our assortment, fill selection gaps, and introduce customers to products they may not traditionally find in stores.
In partnership with onboarding and internal teams, you will help sellers launch efficiently and set them up for long-term success. You will balance the needs of customers, sellers, and internal partners while driving outcomes across the business. Success in this role requires an ownership mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced, evolving marketplace environment.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another nonBest Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

  • Partner with Account Management, Operations, and Category Management teams to support category goals, close assortment gaps, and expand selection across priority categories. Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications
