Job Description
Hirani Engineering & Land Surveying, D.P.C. is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Junior Business Development Associate to support our growth initiatives across our engineering, surveying, and inspection services. This role offers a blend of office coordination and field engagement, providing exposure to client interactions, project sites, and internal strategy.
The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and eager to build relationships within the AEC industry while supporting senior leadership in expanding business opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support business development efforts across multiple divisions (MTSI, Land Surveying, GEM, Building Envelope, Engineering)
  • Assist in identifying and tracking new business opportunities, leads, and client prospects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts
  • Attend industry events, client meetings, and site visits to support relationship-building efforts
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information for proposals, presentations, and qualifications packages
  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and marketing materials
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities in CRM systems
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support strategic initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support to the business development function

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (AEC industry experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings
