About This Role

Job description:

We are currently looking for a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teacher in our toddler program. The selected candidate will work closely to establish a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.


What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and educational activities tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children.
  • Ensure the classroom environment is consistently safe, clean, and organized.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to create and implement effective lesson plans that promote cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, diapering/toileting, and transitions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain);
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or Head Teacher Certificate.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.
