Job description

Summary

The Division of Developmental Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinician-Educator Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics and/or Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics/ Neurodevelopmental Disabilities to join a rapidly growing service that is undergoing an exciting expansion of its' clinical, educational and research mission in a pre-eminent children's hospital and integrated pediatric healthcare system. This faculty position will provide subspecialty developmental-behavioral consultations to infants, children, and adolescents referred to the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics & Autism.  This position provides a potential for a mixture of clinical, educational and research opportunities depending on the applicant's interest and experience. Successful candidates should be eligible for faculty appointments at Baylor College of Medicine at the Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor levels.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: MD/ DO or equivalent.
  • Minimum Certification/Licensure: Licensed (or in process) by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board-eligibility in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (completion of 3-year fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics) or completion of a 6 year residency in NDD

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
