At KL&A, project managers bear the primary responsibility for ensuring the success of a project and its team. They oversee and manage financial, quality, and technical milestones to guarantee project success and client satisfaction. Leveraging their knowledge, experience, and expertise, our project managers anticipate and resolve critical issues that arise during project design and construction. They act as the main point of contact between internal and external project team members. Through cultivating strong client relations, our project managers serve as key ambassadors of KL&A's brand. Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Supervises a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Acts as a technical expert, applying advanced engineering concepts, principles, and methods.
  • Provides mentorship and technical guidance for team members' career growth.
  • Prepares proposals for professional services to meet client needs.
  • Reviews and approves scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure project alignment.
  • Leads project meetings internally and externally.
  • Reviews complete project documents for conformity, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Markets KL&A services through a doer/seller model and emphasizes excellent client service.
  • Represents the organization through client interactions and any industry events attended.
  • Ensures the well-being of team members and offers support during challenging times.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Engineering Project Manager Qualifications:
  • ABET accredited degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering
  • Colorado Licensed PE or SE
  • Minimum of 10 years of design experience with 2-3 years of project management with various building types
  • Experience on major projects of moderate scope with complex design features
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship, both presently and in the future

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Revit Structures
  • Experience with RAM and/or RISA analysis models

Salary: $106,000 - $120,000 Annually
