Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Engineering Manager with 5+ years of experience in a managing role to join our growing dynamic team. The Manager will be supervising a team of Designers and Engineers (mechanical, electrical, simulation). The role will involve checking the team deliverables from the draftsmen and /or Engineers to create and maintain a consistent level of standard practices.
The role is based in Bengaluru, India under the supervision and leadership of the Global Engineering Manager based in Houston Texas USA.
Responsibilities of the Engineer Manager include, but are not limited to:
• Manage team activities and priorities.
• Track team performances to improve efficiency and On Time Delivery.
• Facilitate the Cross-functional collaboration with global teams.
• Team Training and coaching planning.
• Designs and Drawings review.
• Hiring.
Qualifications of the Engineer Manager include, but are not limited to:
• 5+ years' experience in a Managing role.
• 5-10+ years' experience in a manufacturing/design environment, and a desire to be hands on.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership mindset.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Excellent cross- functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent time and project Management
• Well organized and self-motivated.
• Must be able to work independently as well as being great team player.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Basic Knowledge in SolidWorks
• Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems a plus but not required.
