Engineeringis responsible for evaluating, developing, refining, standardizing,supporting, and continuously improving machine platforms acrossmultiple product categories while increasing ownership of machinedesigns, engineering standards, technical resources, documentation,and intellectual property.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organizedand execution-focused Project Engineer to serve as the primarycoordination point between OEM factory development teams and theX-Series Engineering Department.
The initial focus ofthis role is to support Engineering in establishing the X-Seriesstandard for technical documentation and engineering resourcesacross all current machine platforms. This includes coordinating theacquisition, organization, validation, and maintenance of OEMtechnical information required for Engineering to developX-Series-owned machine layouts, site requirement documents,electrical requirement documents, engineering standards, technicaldocumentation packages, configuration records, manuals,implementation resources, service documentation, training materials,and other machine-specific support resources.

Applications Engineersare technical subject matter experts responsible for commissioningequipment, developing and validating processes, conducting customertraining, supporting demonstrations, and serving as a primaryapplications resource for customers throughout the United States.
This position requiresfrequent travel and direct interaction with customers, operators,programmers, and production personnel to ensure successful machineimplementation and long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Project Execution
โ€ข Execute assigned machinedevelopment projects under the direction of the Lead DevelopmentEngineer.
โ€ข Translate engineering directives into structuredproject plans with measurable deliverables and timelines.
โ€ข Maintain project schedules, engineering priorities, milestonetracking, and development status reporting.
โ€ข Identify andcommunicate project risks, delays, resource constraints, andtechnical roadblocks.
โ€ข Serve as a primary engineering point ofcontact for project management, sales, service, and customer-facingstakeholders.
โ€ข Support technical communication and issueresolution between Engineering, OEM partners, and customer-facingteams.
โ€ข Ensure assigned engineering tasks are completedaccording to scope, timeline, quality expectations, and project objectives.
OEM Technical Data &Resource Development Coordination
โ€ข Act as a primary coordinationpoint between OEM factory product managers and the domesticengineering team.
โ€ข Coordinate acquisition of technicalinformation required to support development of X-Series engineeringresources and documentation standards.
โ€ข Obtain, organize,validate, and maintain OEM resources including: mechanical drawings,CAD models, BOMs, electrical schematics, pneumatic and hydraulicdiagrams, software backups, OEM specifications, technical manuals,configuration records, and testing and validation data.
โ€ข Workwith OEM teams to resolve documentation gaps, discrepancies, andincomplete technical data packages.
Machine Development &Productization Support
โ€ข Support development andrefinement of existing machine platforms requiring additionalengineering attention.
โ€ข Assist with execution of machinevariants, custom configurations, and customer-specificrequirements.
โ€ข Track design changes, configuration updates,and development status throughout the project lifecycle.
โ€ข Support engineering validation, testing, and readiness reviews.
Engineering Resource Development
โ€ข Coordinate development ofstandardized engineering resources for all machine platforms.
โ€ข Support Development Engineers in creating and maintaining X-Seriesmachine standards, technical documentation packages, configurationdatabases, engineering reference libraries, service resources,installation resources, training materials, and product developmentrecords.
โ€ข Track completion status of resource-developmentinitiatives across machine platforms.
Cross-Functional Coordination& Reporting
โ€ข Coordinate with Sales, Service,Applications Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, and R&DOperations as required.
โ€ข Maintain accurate project statusreports, engineering action item logs, and development trackingrecords.
โ€ข Provide regular updates to the Lead DevelopmentEngineer regarding project progress, risks, and resourcerequirements.
โ€ข Ensure engineering leadership has clearvisibility into project status and execution progress at all times.
ApplicationsEngineering Coordination
โ€ข Coordinate activities and priorities among Applications Engineering personnel.
โ€ข Support scheduling of customer visits, demonstrations, commissioningactivities, and applications initiatives.
โ€ข Track completion of applications engineering deliverables, trainingresources, and technical development projects.
โ€ข This reinforces the Project Engineer's role as the execution andcoordination resource supporting Engineering leadership.
Qualifications
โ€ข Engineering degree orequivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, ManufacturingEngineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a relatedfield.
โ€ข Strong organizational, planning, and projectcoordination skills.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple technicalprojects simultaneously.
โ€ข Experience working with industrialmachinery, manufacturing systems, automation equipment, orfabrication equipment.
