DHL Express is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare Logistics Engineering Intern to join our Infrastructure team, supporting strategic GDP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance initiatives within the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.

This role is a unique hybrid of business and engineering, offering hands-on exposure to project management, operational coordination, data analysis, and infrastructure execution. The intern will work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to support planning, tracking, and reporting across infrastructure projects critical to pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and coordination, including tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain and update project trackers, schedules, and documentation to ensure accurate reporting
  • Use Microsoft Excel to analyze data and build reports and visualizations (e.g., graphs, milestone charts, Pareto charts) that support operational and project decision-making
  • Develop and edit presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva to communicate project updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with documenting key actions, risks, and next steps
  • Support layout and implementation of design concepts

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Interest in pharmaceutical logistics, healthcare operations, infrastructure engineering or regulated environments
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a hybrid technical and business environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to create charts, perform basic data analysis, and generate reports)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Canva, including editing and working within established templates
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with process improvement, reporting tools, Visio, Power BI or AutoCAD is a plus
  • Understanding of GDP, quality systems or regulated environments is a plus
