Job description

Starting off 2026 with a rare opportunity for an Engineering Director to join an Operator in the Middle East on a residential expat basis. Due to the growth of my clients project portfolio, they are looking to add an Engineering Director/Senior Manager to support across a variety of projects. Considering the depth of their portfolio, they are open to discussing with candidates from both an offshore and onshore project background.

This position is responsible for all engineering disciplines, providing technical design and engineering services throughout all stages of project development whilst acting as the Technical Authority for all discipline engineers in their group. As much as the role requires a very high level of technical capability, strong man management and people leadership skills are crucial given the diverse demographics within the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline
  • 20+ years experience, preferably in an IOC
  • 15+ years in Major Projects
  • 10+ years in Engineering Management
  • Chartered Engineer status highly desirable
